Praia dos Manguinhos Beach is the second longest beach in Buzios next to Praia da Rasa. It is even located between Praia da Rasa and Tartaruga beach. Crossing overland from Praia dos Manguinhos beach will bring you to Tuncuns Beach where surfing competitions are held. Like Praia dos Manguinhos beach, Tuncuns and Praia da Rasa are the beaches of choice for surfing because of ideal wind and wave conditions. Because the Manguinhos beach is more crowded than Rasa or Tuncuns, vacationing surfers choose Rasa or Tuncuns beaches over Praia dos Manguinhos beach for surfing; but in terms of facilities, Praia dos Manguinhos beach has more to offer than the two other beaches combined.
