Buzios weather: a perfect forecast nearly all year round!

If you are considering the Buzios weather when planning your vacation, you'll be glad to know that virtually all year round the Buzios climate is welcoming to visitors. One number stands out among all the other weather forecast statistics: 254. This is the average number of totally sunny days Buzios has each year. In a detailed weather report Buzios might show up under some cloud cover, but this is usually a result of relative humidity and very seldom results in rain.

Any rainfall in Buzios is generally sporadic, but the area is known to fall victim to sudden storms which can last a few days. During this time windspeed can go up over 50 km/h and as for wind direction, well, it tends to come from everywhere at once. For most of the year however the Buzios weather is balmy on the side of hot, with relative humidity that is bearable to most Westerners.

The temperature of the water at the beaches will vary depending on whether you are on the East or West coast, but is generally in the range of 18-21 degrees celcius. The Buzios climate sees little change, and when you want to go to Buzios is more a matter of choosing between action and crowds, or have a peaceful time with plenty of space on the beach. If you want to avoid the crowds and get the best weather, Buzios is best around March-June or September-November. Being there when the crowds are mean you get the best Buzios weather, but have to deal with three tourists to every local!

The beaches on the Eastern coast experience quite a long high tide, and information about when this is can be found at any surf shop or tourist information booth, or at reception in your hotel. The average annual temperature is 26 degrees Celsius (around 80 degrees F.) but this can vary greatly depending on wind speed, wind direction, relative humidity and of course the time of year. As a general guideline the Buzios weather is usually the opposite of whatever is happening in the US or Europe, with a little extra sun on top of that.

There is generally no "bad" time to visit Buzios, as the Buzios weather is usually calm and warm. However, freak storms do come out of nowhere and there is no way to predict them. Make sure you pack at least a rain coat (don't bother with an umbrella, it will only get destroyed by the wind) in the unlikely event of a sudden squall.
